Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Sports and Concert Complex, Saint Petersburg,  taking place on 10/11/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Russia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport 1 Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Afon Vassiliev (20(1) - 2) who hails from Moscow, Russia and Evgeny Volkov(17 - 13(6) - 1) from Moscow, Russia.  Vassiliev weighed in at 166 pounds and 15 ounces, while Volkov weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Igor Gankin, and the three ringside judges are Mikhail Kazakov, Dimi Dundukov and Sergei Aksinin.
