Akira Tao vs Jun Shiraishi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Jiro Seki Gym, Yokohama,  taking place on 19/09/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Kanagawa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akira Tao (13 - 10 - 5) who hails from Sagamihara, Japan and Jun Shiraishi(13 - 13 - 5) from Yokosuka, Japan.  Both Tao and Shiraishi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Oh, and the three ringside judges are Nori Okuma, Keiichi Okuda and Ryuu Seno.  

Round 1: 

Shiraishi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Tao is whaling away with hooks, but Shiraishi keeps his defence tight.  Tao lands a cross.

Tao throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tao closes the distance.  Tao sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Tao switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Shiraishi sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Tao advances into close range and attempts to land a right hook, but Shiraishi sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tao gets on the inside.  Tao sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tao tries to land a right hook, but Shiraishi parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tao lands an overhand right.  
Tao throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tao lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Shiraishi attempts to land a right hook, but Tao slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Shiraishi's ribs.
