James McGowan vs Oscar Walsh

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Grand Rapids Napier, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 23/09/2029:

Clearly AI USA-Michigan have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James McGowan (2 - 6 - 3) who hails from Detroit, USA and Oscar Walsh(8 - 16 - 7) from Detroit, USA.  Both McGowan and Walsh weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leighton Dempsey, and the three ringside judges are Nick McGowan, Leeroy Shedden and Floyd Solinski.  

Round 1: 

Walsh is looking to close the distance.  McGowan drives a right hook into Walsh's body.  
McGowan steps away from his opponent.  Walsh connects with a cross.

As McGowan tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Walsh has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
McGowan connects with an overhand right.  
McGowan attempts to land a jab, but Walsh slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Walsh closes the distance.  Walsh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.
