Labaron Killy vs Ray Barse

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ivory Coast-Vallee du Bandama promoted show at Vallee du Bandama Gym, Bouake,  taking place on 22/09/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ivory Coast Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Labaron Killy (16(4) - 11(6)) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Ray Barse(13 - 11 - 4) from Bouake, Ivory Coast.  Both Killy and Barse weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Courau, and the three ringside judges are Raul Gervais, Holland Boileau and Noel Nolton.  

Round 1: 

Killy is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Killy lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Killy advances into close range and digs in a solid left hook to Barse's liver.  
Killy steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Killy gets on the inside.  Killy pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Killy gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Killy lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Killy hits home with a left hook.  
Killy steps inside.  Barse throws a left hook, but Killy clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Killy pushes his forearm into Barse's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Killy about fouling.  
Barse pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Barse walks Killy down, trapping him in a corner.  Killy is on target with a right uppercut.  
Barse throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Killy lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Killy gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Killy clinches his opponent.  Killy throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Killy lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barse's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Barse is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Killy feints a jab, but Barse ignores the feint and responds with a right uppercut.  
Killy closes the distance.  Killy pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Killy closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Killy gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Killy holds on to his opponent.  Killy throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.

Killy gets on the inside.  Killy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Barse's ribcage.  
Killy drives a right hook into Barse's ribcage.  
Barse drives a cross into Killy's body.  
Killy lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Killy steps inside.  Killy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Killy manouvers Barse into the blue corner.  Killy lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Killy hits home with a right hook.  
Killy lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Barse quickly recovers. 
Killy lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Killy forces Barse to back into the corner.  Barse throws a left hook, but Killy ties up his opponent.  Killy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Killy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Killy connects with a left uppercut.  
Killy lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Killy advances into close range and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barse quickly recovers. 
Barse pivots from in front of his opponent.  Killy is on target with a right hook to Barse's body.  
Killy lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Killy lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Barse has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
