Neron Pando vs Eloy Zegarra

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Betancur, Acapulco,  taking place on 24/09/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Guerrero Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neron Pando (19(2) - 4) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Eloy Zegarra(3 - 7 - 6) from Chipancingo, Mexico.  Both Pando and Zegarra weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Gracia, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Tomey, Joaquin Gracia and Santiago Verduzco.  

Round 1: 

Zegarra gets on the inside.  Pando sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zegarra throws a right hook, but Pando holds on to his opponent.  Pando leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pando drives a left hook into Zegarra's ribs.  Pando clinches his opponent.  Pando pushes his forearm into Zegarra's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pando about fouling.  
Pando lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Pando sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zegarra throws a right hook, but Pando ties up his opponent.  Zegarra uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pando's kidney. The referee warns Zegarra and breaks the clinch.  
Pando sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pando drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Pando clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pando pushes his forearm into Zegarra's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pando about fouling.
