Ashley Sharper vs Jake McCaig

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Marquette Gymnasium, Milwaukee,  taking place on 12/10/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Sharper (13(6) - 0) who hails from Denver, USA and Jake McCaig(20(2) - 5(2)) from Cleveland, USA.  Both Sharper and McCaig weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Bobet, and the three ringside judges are Dan Fentress, Michael Yeamans and Ethan McKenna.  

Round 1: 

Sharper tries to land a jab, but McCaig slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sharper drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
McCaig sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
McCaig lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

McCaig walks Sharper down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sharper lands a stinging jab.  
Sharper lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Sharper steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but McCaig parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McCaig voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Sharper is whaling away with hooks, but McCaig keeps his defence tight.  Sharper lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Sharper is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but McCaig slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Sharper's body.  
Sharper tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Sharper lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
McCaig throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty left uppercut.  MCCAIG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  McCaig almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sharper pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sharper throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCaig is on target with a cross.  
Sharper tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McCaig recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Sharper drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.
