Ricky Bednarczyk vs John Strom

Boxing Daily Report from the Museli Promotions promoted show at Wichita Shields, Wichita,  taking place on 11/10/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Illinois Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Bednarczyk (15 - 8(1) - 6) who hails from Chicago, USA and John Strom(17 - 13(3) - 5) from Chicago, USA.  Both Bednarczyk and Strom weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Cargill, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Reid, Kenzie Beavin and Charlie Valdivia.  

Round 1: 

Strom closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Strom tries to land a right hook, but Bednarczyk slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Strom closes the distance and walks Bednarczyk down, trapping him on the ropes.  As Bednarczyk tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strom dabs at his face checking for damage.  Strom has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
