Cody Aplaon vs Federico Batongbacal

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Rizal Memorial College Gym, Davao City,  taking place on 22/10/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Aplaon (14(7) - 0 - 1) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Federico Batongbacal(19 - 8 - 3) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Both Aplaon and Batongbacal weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ashley Manaligod, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Gordon, Will Alujipan and Seth Tacdol.  

Round 1:

As they grapple, Aplaon pushes his forearm into Batongbacal's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Aplaon about fouling.
