Majid Safi vs Waqas Naim

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam,  taking place on 13/10/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Astro Arena, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Majid Safi (25(17) - 2(1)) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Waqas Naim(25 - 6(4)) from Shah Alam, Malaysia.  Safi weighed in at 159 pounds and 10 ounces, while Naim weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Atif Awan, and the three ringside judges are Rashid Saad, Atif Awan and Khalid Wassan.  

Round 1:
