Matt Smith vs Glynn McBride

Boxing Daily Report from the Muli Bar promoted show at No Gym, Newcastle,  taking place on 13/09/2029:

Clearly Muli Bar have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Smith (13 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Newcastle, Australia and Glynn McBride(10 - 8) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Smith and McBride weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Onanyan, and the three ringside judges are Dave Telfair, James Finocchiaro and Matthew Curto.  

Round 1: 

McBride finds the target with a jab.  
Smith manages to force McBride onto the ropes.  Smith connects with a left hook.  
McBride steps to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Smith throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Smith steps inside.  McBride pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Smith sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to McBride's ribs.

Smith digs in a left hook to McBride's ribs.  
McBride is on target with a left hook.  
Smith lands a left hook.  
McBride tries to step out of his opponents range.  Smith lands a jab.  
Smith walks McBride into a corner.  Smith pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
