Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Western Australia promoted show at Perth MacPhee, Perth,  taking place on 12/10/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Powles (12(7) - 0 - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Zachary Clingan(3 - 1 - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Both Powles and Clingan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Neish, and the three ringside judges are Dave McPherson, Oscar MacKechnie and Euan Gregor.  

Round 1:

Powles tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Clingan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Clingan steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Powles lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.

Clingan attempts to land a cross, but Powles slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Powles steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.

Powles closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Clingan is looking to close the distance and manouvers Powles onto the ropes.  Clingan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Powles lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.

Powles ties up his opponent.  Powles is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Powles to stop holding.  
Powles steps to the outside.  Powles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a weighty cross.  Clingan now seems to have his senses back.  
Powles closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Powles lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Powles sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Powles steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Clingan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Powles pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a nasty left uppercut.  CLINGAN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.

Powles steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Powles lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Powles is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  Powles throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Powles gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES CLINGAN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Powles!
