Benedict Zoetaert vs Laramie Ionesco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belgium-Capital Region promoted show at Brussels Tellier, Brussels,  taking place on 16/10/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belgium Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Benedict Zoetaert (15 - 11 - 5) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Laramie Ionesco(18(4) - 9(3)) from Brussels, Belgium.  Both Zoetaert and Ionesco weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Varden Aragon, and the three ringside judges are Forrest Marques, Beau Filipacchi and Similien Voisin.  

Round 1: 

Ionesco lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ionesco closes the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Ionesco cuts off the ring, trapping Zoetaert in a corner.  Ionesco pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ionesco walks Zoetaert into a neutral corner.  Ionesco pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into Zoetaert's ribcage.  
Ionesco manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ionesco digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ionesco is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Zoetaert connects with a cross.  
Ionesco steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Ionesco lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zoetaert's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Zoetaert's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Zoetaert's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Ionesco steps inside and whips in a hurtful left hook to Zoetaert's ribs.  ZOETAERT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Zoetaert quickly recovers.

Zoetaert switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Ionesco crashes a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut to his opponents body.  ZOETAERT IS DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE ZOETAERT CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ionesco!
