Carlo Chiti vs Leonardo Palomba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Alfredo Senatore Gym, Catania,  taking place on 21/09/2029:

Clearly AI Italy-Sicily have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlo Chiti (13 - 9(1) - 6) who hails from Catania, Italy and Leonardo Palomba(14 - 6 - 7) from Messina, Italy.  Both Chiti and Palomba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vittore Smuraglia, and the three ringside judges are Giorgio Lamberti, Cristiano Borrelli and Rocco Galati.  

Round 1: 

Palomba cuts off the ring, trapping Chiti in the blue corner.  Chiti lands a left hook.  
Palomba connects with a cross.

Chiti lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Chiti is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Chiti has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Palomba walks Chiti down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Palomba is on target with a left hook.  
Chiti is on target with a jab.  
Palomba sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Chiti throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Palomba to the neutral corner.  He tells Chiti he will lose a point if he continues to foul.
