Carlos Gallo vs Marjun Lerma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Francisco Morazan promoted show at Tegucigalpa Ruan, Tegucigalpa,  taking place on 21/10/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras-Francisco Morazan Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Gallo (10(2) - 7 - 2) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Marjun Lerma(5 - 2 - 2) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Gallo and Lerma weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Perez, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Augusto, Cuba Mendosa and Diego Carias.  

Round 1: 

Gallo advances into close range.  Lerma pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gallo lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Gallo ties up his opponent.  Gallo pushes his forearm into Lerma's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gallo about fouling.  
Gallo digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Gallo clinches his opponent.  Gallo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Lerma's kidney. The referee warns Gallo and breaks the clinch.  
Gallo drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Gallo ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gallo digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Gallo closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Gallo lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Gallo holds on to his opponent.  Gallo hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Gallo forces Lerma to retreat into a corner.  Gallo is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Gallo is looking to close the distance and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Gallo lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Gallo holds on to his opponent.  Gallo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Lerma's kidney. The referee warns Gallo and breaks the clinch.

Lerma switches the action to the outside.  Gallo connects with a cross.

Lerma is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gallo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Gallo digs in a stinging left hook to Lerma's body.  
Gallo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gallo drives a right uppercut into Lerma's body.  Gallo holds on to his opponent.  Gallo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Lerma is looking to keep his distance.  Gallo hits home with a firm cross.  
Gallo closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gallo forces Lerma to back into the blue corner.  Gallo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lerma recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gallo steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Gallo closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Gallo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gallo is on target with a stinging right uppercut to Lerma's body.  Gallo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Lerma parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gallo is on target with a left hook to Lerma's liver.  
Lerma attempts to land a left hook, but Gallo sidesteps and counters with a nasty right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE LERMA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Lerma almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lerma's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Lerma's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lerma's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Gallo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  As Gallo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lerma dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gallo connects with a left hook.  
Gallo advances into close range and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lerma blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gallo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lerma steps away from his opponent.  Gallo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Gallo closes the distance and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lerma almost instantly recovers.

Gallo drives a left uppercut into Lerma's body.  
Lerma lands a right hook.  
Lerma lands a cross.  
Gallo digs in a right hook to Lerma's body.  
Gallo closes the distance.  Gallo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  As Lerma tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gallo has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Lerma is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gallo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gallo closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Lerma is looking to keep his distance.  Gallo feints a cross, fooling Lerma into throwing a right hook counter.  Gallo springs the trap and counters with  a left uppercut.  
Gallo lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND DROPS LERMA!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Gallo closes the distance.  Gallo knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Gallo lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS LERMA TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Lerma cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Gallo!
