Ichiro Sugawara vs Dai Iwata

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Kawata, Kobe,  taking place on 20/10/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ichiro Sugawara (9 - 18 - 3) who hails from Akashi, Japan and Dai Iwata(13(1) - 8 - 2) from Akashi, Japan.  Both Sugawara and Iwata weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Furukawa, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Matsuno, Hajime Nishioka and Hiro Katayama.  

Round 1: 

Iwata is looking to close the distance.  Sugawara pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sugawara throws a left uppercut, but Iwata ties up his opponent.  Iwata hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.
