Chris Jones vs John Sheriff

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Santa Ana Blackshaw, Santa Ana,  taking place on 23/09/2029:

Clearly Bones Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Jones (12 - 11 - 4) who hails from Irvine, USA and John Sheriff(13 - 10 - 4) from San Diego, USA.  Jones weighed in at 122 pounds, while Sheriff weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lee Bartolome, and the three ringside judges are Adam Paulin, Harry Millar and Mick Gwilym.  

Round 1: 

Jones feints a left hook, but Sheriff is not fooled and is on target with a right hook.  
Sheriff steps inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Jones steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Sheriff advances into close range.  Sheriff lands a left hook.  As Jones tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sheriff dabs at his face checking for damage.
