Douglas Baird vs Gerrit Van der Straete

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Radisson Hotel, Glasgow,  taking place on 15/10/2029:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (18(1) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Gerrit Van der Straete(11 - 10 - 4) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Baird and Van der Straete weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iain MacCracken, and the three ringside judges are Ed McPhatter, Gordon Loch and Anton Adam.  

Round 1: 

Baird advances into close range and is on target with a firm left hook.
