David Byer vs Brendan George

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Maryland promoted show at Baltimore Telfer, Baltimore,  taking place on 02/10/2029:

Clearly AI USA-Maryland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Maryland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Byer (9 - 10) who hails from Baltimore, USA and Brendan George(6 - 4 - 1) from Baltimore, USA.  Both Byer and George weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Mickel, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Pickens, Chris Sandison and Sid Morrison.  

Round 1: 

George gets on the inside.  Byer tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Byer dabs at his face checking for damage.  Byer has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
