Giles Vartan vs Mason Beger

Boxing Daily Report from the Kauseni Promotions promoted show at Abidjan Gary, Abidjan,  taking place on 22/10/2029:

Clearly Kauseni Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ivory Coast-Lagunes Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Giles Vartan (13 - 10 - 1) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Mason Beger(7 - 5(1) - 1) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Vartan weighed in at 129 pounds and 3 ounces, while Beger weighed in at 129 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gerard Normandeau, and the three ringside judges are Vivien Delon, Travis Bay and Leggett Colette.  

Round 1: 

Beger gets on the inside.  Beger sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Beger throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Beger's body.  
Beger is on target with an overhand right.

Beger advances into close range.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vartan dabs at his face checking for damage.

Beger advances into close range and manages to force Vartan onto the ropes.  Vartan lands a left hook.
