Govind Bakshi vs Mohsin Shahidi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Chennai Chawla, Chennai,  taking place on 18/11/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Tamil Nadu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Govind Bakshi (16 - 9 - 3) who hails from Chennai, India and Mohsin Shahidi(11 - 9 - 6) from Chennai, India.  Both Bakshi and Shahidi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jyotish Narra, and the three ringside judges are Girish Mehra, Amer Meskin and Aftab Dia.

Shahidi closes the distance.  Bakshi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Bakshi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shahidi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Shahidi steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Shahidi ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Bakshi pushes his forearm into Shahidi's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Shahidi steps inside.  Bakshi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Shahidi is whaling away with hooks, but Bakshi keeps his defence tight.  Shahidi connects with a right uppercut.
