Karl Laidlaw vs Sam Higgins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Connacht promoted show at Salthill Leisureland Complex, Galway,  taking place on 22/11/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Karl Laidlaw (23(19) - 8(7)) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Sam Higgins(18(5) - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Laidlaw weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces, while Higgins weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Carroll, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mahoney, Ian Doyle and Jordan Byrnes.
