Mark Marrufo vs Duncan Hannahs

Boxing Daily Report from the Melvin Grayshock Promotions promoted show at Justin Yeamans Gym, Irvine,  taking place on 25/10/2029:

Clearly Melvin Grayshock Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Marrufo (12 - 11 - 1) who hails from Moreno Valley, USA and Duncan Hannahs(18(10) - 2) from Anaheim, USA.  Marrufo weighed in at 174 pounds and 14 ounces, while Hannahs weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Ross, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Hankin, Nick Erskin and Hayden Abraham.  

Round 1: 

Hannahs gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hannahs closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Hannahs ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hannahs pushes his forearm into Marrufo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hannahs.  
Hannahs advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hannahs manouvers Marrufo onto the ropes.  Marrufo tries to land a jab, but Hannahs sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.

Hannahs closes the distance and drives a solid left hook into Marrufo's body.  Hannahs ties up his opponent.  Hannahs is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hannahs.

Hannahs leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hannahs tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Marrufo behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hannahs about fouling.

Hannahs closes the distance and forces Marrufo to back into the red corner.  Hannahs digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  Hannahs clinches his opponent.  Hannahs is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hannahs lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hannahs holds on to his opponent.  Hannahs is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Marrufo almost instantly gets his legs back.
