Lloyd Saunders vs Ashley Morman

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Club Famous, Kingston,  taking place on 14/01/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lloyd Saunders (23(14) - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Ashley Morman(10 - 8(1) - 3) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Saunders weighed in at 154 pounds, while Morman weighed in at 153 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Davie Taylor, Gareth Stater and Bob Witherow.  

Round 1: 

Saunders advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Morman's liver.  Saunders attempts to land a left hook, but Morman dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Morman switches the action to the outside.  Saunders connects with an overhand left.  
Saunders advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Saunders hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Morman switches the action to the outside.  Saunders finds the target with a solid jab.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Morman.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Saunders lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Saunders clinches his opponent.  Saunders is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Saunders and breaks the clinch.  
Saunders hits home with a firm left hook.  
Saunders lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Morman recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Saunders pivots to the left of his opponent.  Saunders lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Saunders clinches his opponent.  Saunders is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Saunders lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Saunders holds on to his opponent.  Saunders tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Morman behind the head. Morman quickly recovers. 
Saunders advances into close range.  Morman throws a left hook, but Saunders holds on to his opponent.  Saunders is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saunders slams a mean left hook into Morman's body.  MORMAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Morman quickly recovers. 
Saunders hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Saunders connects with a left hook.  Saunders throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Saunders lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Saunders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Saunders lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Saunders holds on to his opponent.  Saunders pushes his forearm into Morman's face.  The ref breaks Saunders's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Saunders lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Saunders lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Saunders is looking to close the distance.  Saunders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saunders connects with a sharp cross.  
Saunders crashes a big right hook to Morman's ribcage.  MORMAN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Saunders clinches his opponent.  Saunders leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Saunders uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Morman behind the head. Saunders throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Morman steps to the outside.  Saunders lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Saunders lands a left hook.  
Saunders lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Saunders holds on to his opponent.  Saunders uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Morman's kidney. Morman almost instantly recovers. 
Saunders lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS MORMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Morman quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Morman's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Morman's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Morman's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Round 2: 

Saunders feints a jab, tricking Morman into launching a right hook counter.  Saunders is waiting for the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Morman's ribs.  
Morman tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a nasty left uppercut.  MORMAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Morman quickly recovers. 
Saunders is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Saunders lands a VICIOUS left hook.  MORMAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Saunders stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Saunders lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Morman doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Saunders!
