Alastair Nish vs Charles Agapito

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 10/12/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Alastair Nish (7(5) - 0) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Charles Agapito(0 - 2 - 1) from Davao City, Philippines.  Both Nish and Agapito weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Canwaring, and the three ringside judges are Rico Cabatingan, Alano Quirino and Ignado Pamon.  

Round 1: 

Nish digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Nish forces Agapito to back into a neutral corner.  Nish pivots to the left of his opponent.  Agapito throws a left hook, but Nish clinches his opponent.  Nish leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Nish's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nish lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Nish is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  Nish clinches his opponent.  Nish is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Nish's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nish is on target with a right uppercut.  
Nish steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Nish slams a hurtful right hook into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE AGAPITO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Agapito quickly recovers. 
Nish lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  Nish holds on to his opponent.  Nish is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Nish lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Nish clinches his opponent.  Nish uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Agapito's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.

Nish lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nish lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Nish pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Nish lands a MASSIVE right hook.  AGAPITO IS HURT!  
Nish thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Agapito away.  Nish DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  DOWN GOES AGAPITO!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Agapito now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Nish drives a telling left uppercut into his opponents body.  AGAPITO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.

Nish leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nish to stop holding.  Agapito quickly recovers. 
Nish gets on the inside and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Nish pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Nish steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nish gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Agapito almost instantly recovers. 
Nish lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS AGAPITO TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Nish!
