Reynaldo Armendarez vs Lorenzo Merlo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Villaflor, Mexico City,  taking place on 05/01/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Reynaldo Armendarez (5(1) - 2) who hails from Naucalpan, Mexico and Lorenzo Merlo(6 - 0 - 1) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Armendarez weighed in at 126 pounds, while Merlo weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.
