Theo Duane vs Mike Taylor

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Chicago McDermott, Chicago,  taking place on 29/11/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theo Duane (13 - 17(1) - 4) who hails from Chicago, USA and Mike Taylor(17 - 8 - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Duane weighed in at 146 pounds And 8 ounces, while Taylor weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Telfer, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Humphries, Sam Touch and Mark Vincent.  

Round 1: 

Taylor digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Duane is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Taylor throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Taylor is looking to close the distance and walks Duane down, trapping him on the ropes.  Taylor connects with a right hook.  
Taylor sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Taylor wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Duane dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Duane.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Duane steps away from his opponent.  Duane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Duane throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
