Justin Mathern vs Jay Lundie

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing Promotions promoted show at Gareth Berres Gym, Columbus,  taking place on 02/12/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Mathern (9 - 3 - 1) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Jay Lundie(15 - 8 - 4) from Columbus, USA.  Both Mathern and Lundie weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Sheedy, and the three ringside judges are Michael Fentress, Lee Saucerman and Colin Ploch.  

Round 1: 

Mathern feints a jab, tricking Lundie into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Mathern springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.
