Vuyisile Zulu vs Tlou Bhengu

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 20/12/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vuyisile Zulu (9 - 0) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Tlou Bhengu(2 - 6 - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Zulu weighed in at 236 pounds and 14 ounces, while Bhengu weighed in at 248 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ontibile Nyauza, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Jali, Arali Kessels and David Demuto.  

Round 1: 

Bhengu is looking to close the distance.  Zulu connects with a right hook.  
Bhengu hits home with a right uppercut.  
Zulu lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Zulu closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Bhengu blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Zulu lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Zulu lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Zulu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Zulu lands with a sharp jab.  
Bhengu steps inside.  Zulu lands a left hook.  
Zulu pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zulu is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Zulu pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zulu lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zulu lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bhengu's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bhengu's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bhengu's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bhengu is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Zulu in the corner.  Bhengu throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bhengu drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Zulu gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zulu pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.

Zulu voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bhengu tries to tag Zulu on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!

Zulu advances into close range.  Bhengu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bhengu throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Zulu's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Zulu is on target with a jab.  
Zulu lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zulu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zulu is on target with a right hook.  
Zulu is on target with a jab.  
Zulu gets on the inside.  Bhengu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zulu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zulu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zulu digs in a right hook to Bhengu's body.  As Bhengu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Zulu dabs at his face checking for damage.

Bhengu is looking to close the distance.  Zulu lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Bhengu is clearly losing his cool here!   He steps inside, but then strikes Zulu with a blatant low blow!  The ref ignores Zulu's protests and signals for the action to continue!  
Zulu digs in a left uppercut to Bhengu's body.  
You can sense Bhengu is getting frustrated in there.    He throws a hook, and catches Zulu low!  The ref halts the action and sends Zulu to the neutral corner.    He warns Bhengu that he is heading for a point deduction.  
Bhengu lands a left uppercut.  
Bhengu sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zulu finds the target with a jab.  
Zulu lands a hard jab.

Bhengu is looking to close the distance.  Zulu digs in a right hook to his opponents body.
