Dillon Carse vs Sagaz Badilla

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bob Guertin Arena, Gaineau,  taking place on 07/01/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dillon Carse (21(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Sagaz Badilla(21 - 9 - 5) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Carse weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces, while Badilla weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Aitken, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Girardot, Gower Paille and Carvell Brame.  

Round 1: 

Carse advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  Carse attempts to land a right hook, but Badilla blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Carse's ribs.  
Carse lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carse is on target with a left hook.  Carse clinches his opponent.  Carse pushes his forearm into Badilla's face.  The ref breaks Carse's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Carse walks Badilla down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Carse lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Carse holds on to his opponent.  Carse is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
