Kristian Korhonen vs Kaapro Polon

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Hartwall Arena, Helsinki,  taking place on 05/01/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MTV Sport 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kristian Korhonen (32(17) - 0) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Kaapro Polon(12 - 4 - 2) from Espoo, Finland.  Korhonen weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces, while Polon weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arvi Vacca, and the three ringside judges are Paavo Vaatainen, Niko Kumpula and Ismo Uosukainen.  

Round 1:

Korhonen feints a jab, tricking Polon into launching a left hook counter.  Korhonen springs the trap, countering with  a left uppercut.  
Korhonen lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Polon throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Polon's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Polon walks Korhonen down, trapping him on the ropes.  Korhonen lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Korhonen switches the action to the outside.  Korhonen stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Polon throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
