Dai Blackard vs Brett Glasson

Boxing Daily Report from the No limit promoted show at Gold Coast Mowatt, Gold Coast,  taking place on 13/12/2029:

Clearly No limit have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Blackard (16(8) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Brett Glasson(2 - 2 - 2) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Blackard weighed in at 230 pounds and 6 ounces, while Glasson weighed in at 227 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mel Culp, and the three ringside judges are Fraser McNabb, Zain Sharifi and James Westwood.  

Round 1: 

Blackard feints a left, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

The ref breaks Blackard's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Glasson cuts off the ring, trapping Blackard on the ropes.  Blackard lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Glasson is looking to close the distance.  Glasson pivots from in front of his opponent.  Glasson throws a right hook, but Blackard ties up his opponent.  Blackard leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Blackard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blackard lands a straight 1 - 2.  Blackard throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Glasson advances into close range.  Blackard lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Blackard holds on to his opponent.  Blackard leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Blackard's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Glasson attempts to land a left hook, but Blackard parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Glasson closes the distance.  Blackard lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Blackard holds on to his opponent.  Blackard pushes his forearm into Glasson's face.  The referee warns Blackard and breaks the clinch.  
Glasson closes the distance.  Blackard lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Blackard steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.

Glasson closes the distance.  Blackard pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Glasson's liver.  
Blackard is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.

Blackard feints a left, and then is on target with a left hook to Glasson's body.  
Glasson closes the distance.  Blackard sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Blackard lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS GLASSON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Blackard sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Blackard lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, DROPPING GLASSON TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Blackard!
