Mike Nguaku vs Vandwon Mpontshane

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 16/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mike Nguaku (19 - 16 - 1) who hails from Pretoria, South Africa and Vandwon Mpontshane(15 - 6(2) - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Both Nguaku and Mpontshane weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mzikayise Tlolane, and the three ringside judges are Quannell Poku, Vince Van Deventer and William Ekstein.  

Round 1: 

Mpontshane steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
