Clinton Mupariwa vs Gethin Nyadombo

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Morris Depot Police Camp, Harare,  taking place on 10/01/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clinton Mupariwa (4(4) - 1) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Gethin Nyadombo(9 - 4 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Mupariwa and Nyadombo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Samkange, and the three ringside judges are Mark Mujokoro, John Sword and Mike Lockie.  

Round 1: 

Mupariwa lands with a ramrod jab.  
Mupariwa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Nyadombo lands a cross.  
Mupariwa lands two jabs followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mupariwa switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nyadombo steps inside.  Mupariwa drives a solid left hook into Nyadombo's liver.  Mupariwa holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Mupariwa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mupariwa tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

He lectures Mupariwa about fouling.  
Nyadombo steps inside.  Mupariwa is on target with a solid left hook.  Mupariwa ties up his opponent.  Mupariwa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mupariwa circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Nyadombo tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nyadombo's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
