Amon Rae vs Ceri Lawgoch

Boxing Daily Report from the Ceaser promoted show at Aeron Winstone Gym, Birmingham,  taking place on 15/12/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amon Rae (6 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Ceri Lawgoch(18(2) - 2) from Norwich, UK.  Both Rae and Lawgoch weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shaun Halliburton, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Baldy, Gregor Russell and Mark Mitchell.  

Round 1: 

Rae feints a jab, and then lands a cross.  
Lawgoch gets on the inside.  Rae hits home with a right hook.  
Lawgoch closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Rae on the ropes.  Rae lands a right hook.  
Rae switches the action to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

As Lawgoch tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rae dabs at his face checking for damage.
