Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Katajanokka Sports Hall, Helsinki,  taking place on 14/12/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vili Makinen (10(8) - 0) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Eelis Aalto(2 - 13 - 3) from Vantaa, Finland.  Both Makinen and Aalto weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Heimo Airikkala, and the three ringside judges are Toni Sandemo, Manu Koivurinnen and Hannes Nieminen.

Aalto advances into close range.  Makinen lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Makinen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Makinen lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Makinen lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES AALTO!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Aalto recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aalto's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Aalto's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Makinen lands a spiteful jab.  Makinen attempts to land a cross, but Aalto slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Makinen steps to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Makinen is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Makinen feints a left hook, and then attempts to land an overhand left, but Aalto sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Makinen lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Makinen is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Makinen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Makinen pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Aalto gets on the inside.  Makinen lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Makinen ties up his opponent.  Makinen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Makinen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Makinen and breaks the clinch.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Makinen dabs at his face checking for damage.  Aalto almost instantly gets his legs back.

Makinen is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Makinen lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Aalto is looking to close the distance.  Makinen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Makinen thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Aalto away.  Makinen lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Makinen!
