Laken Karoki vs David Rubia

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kamathi, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/12/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Laken Karoki (16 - 15(13)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and David Rubia(12 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Karoki weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces, while Rubia weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Abed, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Shaheen, Ludacris Nkaissery and Shaun Chelangat.
