Douglas Baird vs Tom Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at O2 Academy, Glasgow,  taking place on 24/12/2029:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (19(1) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Tom Hughes(3 - 1) from Swansea, UK.  Baird weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces, while Hughes weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Greenaway, and the three ringside judges are John McVicker, George Black and Marcus Couch.
