Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 28/12/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Ngcobo (5(2) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Shevon Zakari(5 - 4(1) - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Ngcobo weighed in at 154 pounds, while Zakari weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Barry Khuzwayo, and the three ringside judges are Tlou Nqakula, Arali Kessels and Clinton Nyauza.  

Round 1: 

Ngcobo lands an overhand right, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Zakari gets on the inside.  Ngcobo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ngcobo lands with a spiteful jab.  
Ngcobo feints a cross and triggers a cross counter from Zakari.  Ngcobo springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.  
Zakari walks Ngcobo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ngcobo digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ngcobo steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Ngcobo lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zakari is looking to close the distance.  Ngcobo lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Ngcobo connects with a solid overhand right.  
Zakari advances into close range.  Ngcobo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Zakari's body.  
Ngcobo is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Zakari quickly recovers. 
Ngcobo lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Zakari quickly recovers. 
Ngcobo finds the target with a hard jab.  
Zakari is looking to close the distance.  Ngcobo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Ngcobo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ngcobo pushes his forearm into Zakari's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ngcobo steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Ngcobo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Zakari recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Zakari manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Zakari connects with a right hook.  
Zakari steps inside.  Ngcobo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ngcobo ties up his opponent.  Ngcobo pushes his forearm into Zakari's face.  The ref breaks Ngcobo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ngcobo feints a right hook, and then hits the target with a hard jab.  
Ngcobo feints a left hook, and then lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Ngcobo is looking to keep his distance and lands with a solid jab.  
Ngcobo lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS ZAKARI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
The right shot from Ngcobo could be enough to force the stoppage!  Ngcobo lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, KNOCKING ZAKARI DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ngcobo!
