Selestino Banes vs Diego Ventura

Boxing Daily Report from the Horus Mark promoted show at Juan Lorenzo Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 28/12/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Selestino Banes (9 - 3 - 3) who hails from Alicante, Spain and Diego Ventura(7 - 7 - 3) from Valencia, Spain.  Both Banes and Ventura weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cris Estay, and the three ringside judges are Jesus Dorado, Xalvador Vita and Xabat Lobos.  

Round 1: 

Banes tries to step out of his opponents range.  Banes feints a right, and then hits home with a cross.  
Ventura connects with a right uppercut.  
Ventura gets on the inside.  As Ventura tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Banes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Banes hits home with a right hook.  
Ventura lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Banes's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ventura's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ventura's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Ventura cuts off the ring, trapping Banes in a corner.  Ventura throws a left uppercut, but Banes clinches his opponent.  Banes tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ventura's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
