Alano Yepez vs Diego Merlo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Ovidio Umanzor Gym, Bayamon,  taking place on 31/12/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alano Yepez (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Diego Merlo(12 - 12 - 4) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Yepez and Merlo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Fabela, and the three ringside judges are Juan Bailon, Alano Exposito and Rico Balcazar.  

Round 1: 

Yepez steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.
