Myrl Mandel vs Ingall Deeken

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Koelnmesse, Cologne,  taking place on 02/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Myrl Mandel (20(8) - 0) who hails from Nuremberg, Germany and Ingall Deeken(19 - 8(1) - 3) from Hamburg, Germany.  Mandel weighed in at 200 pounds, while Deeken weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arnold Joel, and the three ringside judges are Lambert Henzel, Alarick Christ and Werner Heitzmann.  

Round 1: 

Mandel lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Mandel digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Mandel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mandel pushes his forearm into Deeken's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Mandel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mandel lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Deeken is looking to keep his distance.  Mandel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mandel steps inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mandel walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Mandel lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mandel lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mandel gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Mandel clinches his opponent.  Mandel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mandel advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Mandel steps inside and is on target with a firm left hook.  Mandel ties up his opponent.  Mandel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mandel digs in a left hook to Deeken's ribs.  
Mandel sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mandel lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Mandel ties up his opponent.  Mandel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Mandel slams a hurtful left uppercut into Deeken's body.  DEEKEN IS HURT!  Deeken quickly recovers.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Mandel.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Mandel lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Deeken tries to step out of his opponents range.  Deeken sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Deeken attempts to land an overhand right, but Mandel sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mandel closes the distance.  Deeken tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Mandel lands a solid right hook.  
Mandel lands a firm cross.  
Mandel steps inside.  Mandel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Deeken connects with a right hook.  Mandel clinches his opponent.  Mandel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Mandel stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mandel lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS DEEKEN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mandel!
