Xhosas Assiful vs Phil Kuenyehia

Boxing Daily Report from the Quansah Promotions promoted show at Accra Ghale, Accra,  taking place on 21/01/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Ghana-Ashanti Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xhosas Assiful (9 - 12) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Phil Kuenyehia(13 - 8(1) - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Assiful and Kuenyehia weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Salawu, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Baluch, Amon Otoo and Robert Inkoom.  

Round 1: 

Kuenyehia lands a cross.  
Assiful lands a left uppercut.  Assiful attempts to land a cross, but Kuenyehia slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
