Paul Malkasyan vs Brin Shubin

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at AIS Arena, Canberra,  taking place on 29/12/2029:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Paul Malkasyan (8(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Brin Shubin(11 - 7 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Malkasyan and Shubin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Cookston, and the three ringside judges are Callum Purcell, John Hakopyan and Mark Kilbride.  

Round 1: 

Shubin throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to Shubin's ribcage.
