Franco Prudencio vs Santiago Matamoros

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bolivia-Oruro promoted show at Angel Partida Gym, Oruro,  taking place on 15/12/2029:

Clearly AI Bolivia-Oruro have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bolivia-Oruro Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Prudencio (4(2) - 0) who hails from Oruro, Bolivia and Santiago Matamoros(8 - 13 - 4) from Oruro, Bolivia.  Both Prudencio and Matamoros weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Casares, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Briceno, Sierra Alvidrez and Sancho Carmen.  

Round 1: 

Prudencio closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Prudencio holds on to his opponent.  Prudencio pushes his forearm into Matamoros's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Prudencio about fouling.  
Prudencio gets on the inside and digs in a firm right hook to Matamoros's ribcage.  
Prudencio hits home with a cross.  
Prudencio is looking to close the distance.  Prudencio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Matamoros has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Prudencio gets on the inside and drives a powerful left hook into his opponents liver.  MATAMOROS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Matamoros almost instantly recovers. 
Matamoros lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Prudencio is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Matamoros hits home with a right uppercut.  
Prudencio lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Prudencio gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.  Prudencio ties up his opponent.  Prudencio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Prudencio connects with a cross.  
Prudencio drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Prudencio clinches his opponent.  Prudencio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Prudencio's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Prudencio advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Prudencio lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Prudencio knows Matamoros is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Prudencio lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MATAMOROS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Prudencio steps inside.  Prudencio whips in a spiteful left hook to Matamoros's body.  MATAMOROS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  It looks like Matamoros has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Prudencio closes the distance and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Prudencio ties up his opponent.  Prudencio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Matamoros throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Prudencio lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Matamoros quickly recovers. 
Matamoros pivots to the right of his opponent.  Prudencio digs in a firm right hook to Matamoros's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Matamoros's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Matamoros's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Prudencio DETONATES a WICKED left hook on his opponents face.  MATAMOROS IS HURT!  Prudencio clinches his opponent.  Prudencio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Matamoros quickly recovers. 
Prudencio drives a left hook into Matamoros's body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Prudencio dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Matamoros hits home with a cross.  
Matamoros throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Prudencio lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Prudencio is looking to close the distance.  Prudencio stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Prudencio lands a FEROCIOUS right uppercut.  MATAMOROS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MATAMOROS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Prudencio!
