Erny Platter vs Derex Ahrendt

Boxing Daily Report from the Mbao Promotions promoted show at Jaye Daun Gym, Leipzig,  taking place on 12/01/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Saxony Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Erny Platter (7 - 4 - 3) who hails from Dresden, Germany and Derex Ahrendt(17 - 9 - 2) from Leipzig, Germany.  Platter weighed in at 139 pounds and 7 ounces, while Ahrendt weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waldron Meisinger, and the three ringside judges are Lamarr Scheele, Jonas Helmkamp and Bin Besser.  

Round 1: 

Ahrendt walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Ahrendt is on target with a jab.

Ahrendt throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Platter's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Ahrendt sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ahrendt gets on the inside.  Platter lands a left hook.  
Platter steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Ahrendt closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.
