Gage Ponce vs Rabiu Daku

Boxing Daily Report from the Simanansa Promotions promoted show at Bamenda Mayer, Bamenda,  taking place on 13/01/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Western African Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gage Ponce (10(5) - 7(1) - 3) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Rabiu Daku(21(1) - 5) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Both Ponce and Daku weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Boswell Roussel, and the three ringside judges are Ross Madjo, Alain Nolin and Olympe Abouna.  

Round 1: 

Ponce closes the distance.  Daku pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
