Amjad Shehadeh vs Chris Carmody

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssali Promotions promoted show at Carlisle Drummond, Carlisle,  taking place on 14/01/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Northern England Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amjad Shehadeh (12(1) - 1(1)) who hails from Middlesbrough, UK and Chris Carmody(15 - 11(1) - 5) from Newcastle, UK.  Both Shehadeh and Carmody weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tony Ferris, and the three ringside judges are Mervyn Cour, Jonathan Duane and Brin Mickel.  

Round 1: 

Shehadeh is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Shehadeh ties up his opponent.  Shehadeh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Shehadeh pushes his forearm into Carmody's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
