Rex Sim vs Arran Ruddock

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at LIV Nightclub, Miami,  taking place on 25/01/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Sim (4(2) - 0) who hails from Yuma, USA and Arran Ruddock(1 - 3) from Nashville, USA.  Sim weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ruddock weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Sprout, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Calley, Chris Sprout and Fanuco Onate.  

Round 1: 

Sim closes the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  
Ruddock gets on the inside.  Sim drives a left hook into Ruddock's body.  
Ruddock attempts to land a left hook, but Sim blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Sim steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Sim is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sim about fouling.  
Ruddock throws a left hook, but Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sim throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sim lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sim sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sim connects with a left hook.  Sim holds on to his opponent.  Sim is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sim drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Sim quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ruddock connects with a left hook.  
Sim feints a right hook, and then lands a stinging left hook.  
Sim steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Sim lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sim cuts off the ring, trapping Ruddock in a corner.  Sim lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Sim quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sim throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Sim is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Sim's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sim lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Sim lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sim steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ruddock tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sim closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Sim lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ruddock's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ruddock's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
