Kyle Carnegie vs Mel Arter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-British Columbia promoted show at Vancouver Pembroke, Vancouver,  taking place on 21/01/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kyle Carnegie (12 - 13 - 6) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Mel Arter(16(2) - 3(1)) from Surrey, Canada.  Both Carnegie and Arter weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Trott, and the three ringside judges are Rich Thomas, Michael Crosbie and Alec Aitken.  

Round 1: 

Carnegie throws a left hook, but Arter ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Arter pushes his forearm into Carnegie's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Arter about fouling.  
Arter advances into close range.  Arter sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Arter drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Carnegie is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.  
Arter lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Carnegie switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Arter manages to force Carnegie onto the ropes.  Arter drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Arter attempts to land a right uppercut, but Carnegie dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arter gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Arter lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Carnegie is on target with a jab.  
Carnegie steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  Carnegie throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Arter is looking to close the distance and whips in a big left uppercut to Carnegie's body.  CARNEGIE IS HURT!  
Carnegie tries to keep the action at long range.  Some sustained pressure from Arter could be enough to finish Carnegie!  Arter lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  It looks like Carnegie has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Arter is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Arter cuts off the ring, trapping Carnegie in a corner.  Arter lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.
