Olindo Montanez vs Bonar Tasso

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 09/02/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olindo Montanez (15(10) - 1) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Bonar Tasso(13 - 11(2)) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Montanez and Tasso weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are Prewitt Gedeon, Louis Marvingt and Olier Paradis.  

Round 1: 

Montanez is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Montanez ties up his opponent.  Montanez pushes his forearm into Tasso's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Montanez about fouling.  
Montanez steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Montanez stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Montanez is on target with a big left uppercut.  TASSO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Tasso now seems to have got his legs back.  
Montanez hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Montanez digs in a firm left uppercut to Tasso's body.  
Montanez is looking to close the distance and lands a solid left hook.  
Tasso switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Montanez is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Tasso's liver.  
Montanez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Montanez ties up his opponent.  Montanez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Montanez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Tasso recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Montanez forces Tasso to retreat into the corner.  Montanez lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Tasso recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tasso throws a left hook, but Montanez holds on to his opponent.  Montanez throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Montanez.  
Montanez closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Montanez closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Tasso's ribs.  
Montanez pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Montanez is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Montanez ties up his opponent.  Montanez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Montanez manouvers Tasso onto the ropes.  Montanez lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Montanez lands a FEROCIOUS left hook.  TASSO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT TASSO IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Montanez!
